If you never hurt, you never feel a thing.

A few weeks back, after Jimmy and I saw the Revival Tour, I did some research on it and found oiut a few of my favorite artists had been on the tour at various times, just not when they came to Michigan. Tim Barry had been on earlier in the year and after stalking his website, his solo tour was announced and he was coming to Michigan!

So I dragged Jimmy with me (I say dragged, but I think he's starting to come around to the music I listen to... lol) and we went to Hamtramack to see him play.

Katie Grace and Jenny Owen Youngs opened up for him. I really liked Katie Grace-she just seemed so excited to be playing haha You could tell she really enjoyed what she was doing, plus we got to talk to her between sets and she was super sweet! Jimmy really liked Jenny Owen Youngs-in fact, I'm pretty sure he downloaded her album when we got home lol

When Tim Barry came on, he immeadilty, grabbed the mic, jumped off the stage and came down into the crowd to perform the first few songs.

He got back on stage to perform the rest of the show and it was amazing! I saw him a few years back when he opened up for the Gaslight Anthem and he was just as good as I remembered-not only is he a rally good story-teller through his songs, but in between he loves to talk about anything and everything, it really makes for a great concert experience.

He played lots of my favorite songs- especially most of his new album 40 Miler (he even explained what that means...apparently, it's a term about someone who rides trains for fun, not exactly the nicest term lol) and 28th and Stonewall, my favorite album of his. He even played Prosser's Gabriel, even though he was hesitant to play it. I just love that song-he's so passionate about the song and the story and it really comes through when he plays.

He played for almost two and a half hours, so we were pretty exhausted by the time we got home but it was totally worth it!

Your daddy told you when you were a girl the kind of things that come to those who wait.

So I have a lot of lists of "___ to do before I die" - most of them are sports related, i.e. see all the major league baseball parks, attend an Olympics, go to an oversees soccer match. There's also "places to see before I die" - Ireland, Australia, Israel. But one list I've been lucky to cross off the most entries from is "bands to see before I die" - there were some, like Dashboard Confessional, that seemed really important at the time, and they aren't as important now, but I'm still glad I saw them but some like Bruce, Elvis Costello, Matthew Sweet, are bands and performers I still love.

Fountains of Wayne was on the list. And I'm happy to say I was able to cross them off!

When the concert was announced, I was debating about buying tickets because Bruce Springsteen tickets went on sale the same day and I kenw I would probably have to choose, which seriosuly broke my heart. But then! My dad offered to buy one, and I could buy the other, which was awesome. But even awesomer? My dad buying my whole family tickets to both shows so we could all go together!

We all met up before the show to have dinner at this place my dad has been talking about months - Howe's Bayou. If you like Cajun food and you're in the Metro Detroit area, check it out!

on the left is my catfish po'boy and on the right is was out peach cobbler-YUM!

After dinner we walked down the street to the Magic Bag to see the show!

My parents stayed in the back while my brother and I made our way...where else...up front, to see the opening act and mess around with instagram haha

Nicole Atkins opened up and I really enjoyed her-she had a really beautiful voice!

Then it was time for Fountains of Wayne!

They played a few of my favorites - Little Red Light, I've Got a Flair, Hey Julie, A Valley Winter Song, Radiation Vibe, Red Dragon Tattoo, Sink to the Bottom - but no Leave the Bike, unfortunately :-( Maybe next time haha

Do you have any bands you want to see?
Any other "before you die" lists, or am I the only morbid one? lol

April 15, 2012

Because the night belongs to lovers, because the night belongs to us.

Remember a few days back when I said that March was boring? Well, April has been anything but! I was feeling some live music withdrawals and between the concert I saw last weekend and the concert I saw on Thursday, I would say I've been fully cured (though I have another show next week! Yippee!)

I had been looking forward to this show for months-ever since tickets went on sale and my dad got them. No matter that this is the fourth time I've seen them in concert...

Cause really, can you ever seen Bruce Springsteen too many times?

No, no you can't.

My mom, dad, neighbor and I all headed up to the Palace after work on Thursday which, if you've been, is not exactly a fun drive. But totally worth it!

Like I said, this is the fourth time I'd seen Bruce and the second time seeing him at the Palace. Out seats were in the upperdeck, on the opposite side of the arena from the stage. They were pretty good, especially considering we were pretty much dead center.

We could see everything, but unfortunately, we were too far for any decent pictures so these were the only ones worth sharing. I took a few more, but they didn't really turn out. It was kinda nice actually, because I just put my phone away and enjoyed the show.

Bruce played for a little over three hours and it was amazing - there's really no other word for it. He played lots of stuff off the new albums (which I love) including opening with We Take Care of our Own and Wrecking Ball, then Death to My Hometown, Jack or All Trades, We Are Alive, Land of Hope and Dreams and Rocky Ground sprinkled throughout. He played lots of crowd favorites as well - Badlands, Youngstown, Born to Run, Thunder Road, Dancing in the Dark, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. My Mom's favorite album got some love too with The Rising, Waiting on a Sunny Day and My City of Ruins, while my dad enjoyed some songs he's never heard Bruce perform live in the 6 times he's seen him- Candy's Room, Trapped, She's the One, Incident on 57th Street.

There's two song that I love that rarely get played live so I was holding out hope that I would hear at least one of them. Not only did he play both (!) but he played 41 Shots into Because the Night. I about died right there!

It was the first tour without Clarence, but his nephew did a great job filling in - it gave me chills when he played the sax solos on Thunder Road, Badlands and of course, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. They also had a tribute video to him that they played which was so sweet.

One of the highlights was when Bruce brought a little kid up to sing the chorus of Waiting on A Sunny Day. He was adorable! And at the end of the chorus, he yelled out, "Play it, E Street Band!" and the entire band picked right back up-so cute! Then he and Bruce did a slide across the stage-the entire place went wild!

The past few times he's gone on tour, my dad has said that it's going to be the last. And every time, it's not. So my dad said it again, especially after how deep he was going into his catalog, that this was probably going to be it. I really hope he's wrong again!

April 14, 2012

I left my dear old home for a distant land to roam.

Last Saturday, when Jimmy and his daughter stopped by my work we decided we wanted to go out and have a date night, but weren't quite sure what to do. Jimmy got online and found some live music, so we went downtown to check it out, even though neither of us had an idea of what to expect lol

He really likes the Alkaline Trio so he was pretty excited to see Dan Andriano on the line-up. We pretty much thought that it would be like the Alkaline Trio-punk/pop-ish. It ended up being nothing like we expected! It was definitely more folksy and definitely right up my alley!

They played for almost four hours and it was great! Jimmy was a little apprehensive when he saw the stand-up bass, violin and mandolin, but he ended up really like it-in fact, since last week, he's bought at least one album from everyone we saw that night! We seriously had the best time-good music and better company. Pretty much a perfect night!

One thing's for certain, the devil's a person. Met him at the riverside Perkins, bedsheets for curtains.

Dad: I'm gonna tell you about this, but before I do, I'm just going to say...you can't go alone. You have to find someone to go with you
Me: Um... ok.... what is it?
Dad: Craig Finn is playing a solo show in Detroit
Me: Oh! Oh! I wanna go!
Dad: Uh-huh...
Me: Are you sure I can't go by myself?
Dad: *rolls eyes*

He gets a little freaked out when I go into the city by myself haha

So, as a birthday present to myself, I figured I'd just by ticket and figure out who was going to go with me when it got closer. Luckily, one of my friends had the night off, so we headed out to the city to see the show.
The show was at PJ's Lager house which is in the Corktown part of the city, kinda by old Tiger Stadium. I had never been there, but was kinda surprised by how small it was once we got inside. It reminded me of an old record store I used to go to with my dad in high school-really intimate and kinda old lol

I didn't expect there to be an opening band, but there was-they were called Mount Moriah. They were like a folk-y/roots rock type-chill but good. The girls voice was beautiful-my friend Katie (who went with me) and I both decided she should just go solo lol

It was about this time that my feet started to go numb. Why do I torture myself and wear my new shoes places where I'm going to be standing, uninterrupted, for about 5 hours? I'm a sadist apparently haha

Luckily, the wait and the pain were worth it. I had seen The Hold Steady (who Craig Finn fronts) a few years ago so I knew he put on a good show and I was not disappointed in the least. Lots of talking and joking and good music-can't really ask for much more.

I mean, they have a steel guitar- 'nuff said.

And my favorite picture of the night...

Quintessential Craig Finn.

Flowers flying cross the room. Vases smashed against the floor.

I have a few fun things to recap, but I'm busy busy busy (story of my life, right?) And tonight I'm

going out (!)

on a date (!!)

with a boy (!!!)

who I actually like (!!!!)

Yea, to say I'm surprised excited would be an understatement.

So for now, you get another music video...

Happy Valentine's Day, ladies!

She's the kind of a girl you can't get enough of.

When I was in elementary school, I never really got into N*SYNC or the Backstreet Boys.

But Hanson...well, that was a much different story. I was completely, utterly, hopelessly in love with them (Zak in particular *swoon*).

In fact, I still listen to them occasionally...don't judge haha

So a few years ago, when I heard that Taylor (aka the middle one who kinda looked like a girl had started a band with a few of my favorites from other bands, I was soooo there.

The band is called Tinted Windows and besides Taylor, there is Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick), Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne) and James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins). Can you really go wrong with that line-up? No, no you can't.

They do power pop, and they do it well. This is probably one of my favorite songs off of their debut album...

Is it cool if I claim this as my theme song?
(Cause I'm totally going to...
Well, everything except the last verse haha)

Your Mama called the law and they're gonna take me away. Down so far even the Devil won't stay.

I love live music-in fact, it is one of my favorite things. I love everything about being at a show-the people, the noise, the atmosphere, the dancing, the singing. But my favorite part, is how, when certain songs are played, and the bass line drops and the kick drum is holding its own, and you can feel it in your chest. Almost as if your pulse and your heart take on the same rhythm as the song and I can just fall back and get lost, completely in those moments.

Yes, that sounds dramatic. But honestly that's how I feel. I've left concerts feeling like I've had a life altering, spiritual experience-also dramatic, but true.

The last concert I saw was back in October and I'm itching to see some live music. But when I was listening to my Ipod this past week, these two songs came on that the Truckers played at that show...

Just listening to that, and I'm instantly transported back to the show. I can literally feel the music in my veins...

One of the best feelings in the world.

It's Christmas eve, baby, in the drunk tank.

I've been a bad blogger.
I'm sorry, ya'll.

I'll be back soon with lots of stuff, including a sneak peek behind the scenes of a bakery during the holidays (there's a reason we say "holidaze").

Here's a few of my fave Christmas tunes....

Hope you all are having a Merry Christmas!

Sweet like candy to my soul.

"Why are you so big on sending us to camp?" I asked my rabbi one afternoon. Not that I minded-I religiously counted down the months, days and hours until could return to camp each summer, reuniting with other Jewish kids from around the country.

"Well," he said, "honestly, the goal is for little Jewish boys and little Jewish girls to meet and grow up and have little Jewish babies."

"Oh," I responded, taken aback by his honesty. "That makes sense."

His view was shared by most of the adults at camp. Nothing too risque went on-some holding of hands and maybe a little kissing. The adults often turned a blind eye, their passive acceptance enough for us. But the counselors, many only a few years older than the campers themselves, encouraged us.

The end of camp was always the worst-no one wanted to leave and we fought back tears for days at the mere though of saying goodbye. On one of the last nights, our counselrs led us to another one of the girls cabins for some late night bonding-we sat cross legged on the beds, reliving of favorite moments of the summer and discussing plans for next.

We were all absorbed in our conversations, but when the door open our heads whipped around, turning to face the door.

The boys cabin, led by their counselors, began filing in, soon filling up an entire half of the cabin. Some of us saw our "summer boyfriends"-we waved and smiled, maybe even blew a few kisses.

Our counselors gave them a knowing smile, as the boys, in unison, got down on one knee.

We were still confused, but soon we understood.

"You've got your ball, you've got your chain..."

The boys began to sing, their off-key voices forming into the most awkwardly sweet melody many of us had ever heard.

"In a boys dream..."

The tears were now streaming down our faces.

"Crash, into me."

The song ended and we rushed the other side of the cabin, holding on to not only them, but the last night of summer.

We carried that memory with us for the next year, eagerly anticipating the coming summer, and following the plan exactly as my rabbi had hoped.

This post is in response to a prompt at Write on Edge-Flash memoir based on the word "crash"

And I'd like to say, "I'm sorry", but we lived to tell about it And we lived to do a whole lot more crazy, stupid, shit.

The last part of my super exciting week was on Friday night and it was...another concert!

Three concerts in one week makes for a tired Amanda.

But! It was so worth it!

My ears hadn't even stopped ringing from the show on Wednesday, but on Friday my dad and I headed to Detroit to see the Drive By Truckers!

My dad wasn't even sure if he was gonna go, meaning we didn't buy tickets in advance, which gave me a minor heart attack. Tickets weren't available the day of the show online or over the phone, so we started the to drive to the city while I tried to get in touch with someone at the box office. Luckily, I was able to talk to someone at Ticketmaster, who told me there were about 130 tickets still available. When I got off the phone and told my dad, he immediately put the petal to the metal so we could make sure we got downtown before they sold out. Luckily, we were able to make it and they sold out not long after we got there. Phew!

My dad wanted to go up to the balcony to watch the show since he didn't bring ear plus so I went up there with him for a few minutes before the opening act played.

They were actually pretty good seats, but I wanted to be down on the floor :-)

The opening act was a band called Those Darlins. I expected them to be a little more twang-y, but they were kinda punk/pop. I liked them a lot, actually. The lyrics were pretty cheeky and amusing which was the best part.

After they wrapped up, I made some friends with the guys in front of me who let me sneak up in front of them, meaning I was in the second row (score!)

They ended up being really cool and completely made the show for me! We talked and bonded over the song "The Living Bubba" because it was both of our faves. Their roadtripping van is actually named Bubba haha They were from Wisconsin so we ended up exchanging numbers/fb-I love making concert friends! Plus, it definitely did not hurt that they were pretty cute haha

The Truckers came on and just plain rocked. Really, there's no other word to describe it. This was my third time seeing them, and they rocked hard.

They didn't play "The Living Bubba" but they did play a few of my other favorites-Carl Perkins' Cadillac, Shut Up and Get on the Plane, People Who Died, and of course, Let There Be Rock.

I was dancing and singing screaming and jumping around like crazy.

When I got home, I was exhausted but I was so pumped I couldn't sleep-that sure made for a long day at work on Saturday. But man, it was soooo worth it!

October 23, 2011

Oh 'cause honey believe me, I'd sure love to call you my girlfriend.

The second exciting thing I was looking forward to this week certainly did not disappoint...

I saw Matthew Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I'd been looking forward to this ever since I stumbled across his tour schedule a few months ago. So so so amazing!

The tour he's currently on is a 20th anniversary of his album "Girlfriend". Yes, I was only three when this album came out, but it's still in my Top Ten Albums of all time. Pure power-pop goodness. I remember when my dad made me listen to it in middle school, and my mind was officially blown.

My dad was supposed to come with me, but had to work in the morning, so I ended up going by myself! I'm seriously loving this new Independent Amanda!

The show was at The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, where I saw Royce a few months ago. The opening act was a band from Atlanta called the Shadowboxers.

You can't tell but they were gorgeous. All of them.

They were really great-loved the sound and the energy. I will definitely be picking up their EP.

After their set, I went up to talk to the guitarist (the one in the middle) and to see if he was as cute up close as he was on stage (spoiler alert: he was) and he was super friendly, so bonus points! Honestly, I hope they come back to Michigan again, I would love to see a whole set.

That's seriously one of my favorite things about live music-getting exposed to new bands. Love love love.

After the break, I was able to sneak back to my place up front and wait for Matthew Sweet to come on. The Pig is so small, I was basically on stage haha It was great!

The concert was amazing. They played "Girlfriend" in it's entirety plus a few others off his new album and the albums in between. I seriously cannot say enough how great it was-I was dancing and singing along and just enjoying every second of being there.

Being in front meant being close to the speakers, so my ears were definitely feeling it the next day, but it was so so so worth it!

October 18, 2011

You could never stand living with a man, who could only lead you halfway to love.

One of the things helping me to get through my stressful week was knowing that this week I had lots of exciting stuff going on....

The first one was this past Saturday night. My dad was celebrating his birthday on Sunday so the whole family went to check out the Jayhawks the night before downtown Ann Arbor.

We sat in the balcony, meaning I couldn't really get any good pictures of the band :-(

At a concert years ago, my dad told me "Some concerts are standing up and dancing concerts, and some concerts are sitting down concerts". This one was *definitely* a sitting down concert-it was still a good time, but I love to dance so I was little upset (although the people around were probably happy they didn't have to witness my dancing haha)

My whole family really liked the opening act-his name was Rayland Baxter. His voice was super unique and great, plus it was just him and his guitar so what's not to love.

My dad went down and bought one of his EP's after he was finished.

Every one was hand wrapped and stamped with wax-adorbs.

The Jayhwaks played a relatively fast set, but I enjoyed a lot of it. They didn't play anything off Rainy Day Music, which disappointed me, but they played a lot off Tomorrow The Green Grass, so that made up for it. Definitely a good time!

The Tigers were playing the same night, so my dad and I were trying to stay in "the bubble" but my bubble got burst by the annoying woman in front of me who shoved her phone in my face to show me the score. Ugh. Oh well, that just meant I could go to bed earlier, which worked out considering I had to work the next morning lol

October 11, 2011

Please remember all of the things I never got a chance to say. Like you look smashing in your fourth grade picture.

A few weeks ago my wonderful friend Rebecca asked me if I'd like to go to a concert with her.

I had only vaguely heard of the band performing, but I love Rebecca and haven't seen her in far too long so of course I said yes!

We had such a good time! The show was in Pontiac at the Pike Room, which is upstairs from another venue called the Crofoot.

Performing downstairs was this metal band called We Came As Romans so it was definitely interesting considering we were upstairs listening to acoustic music ha ha Whoever scheduled those two shows on the same day was not thinking lol

Besides the fact that half the time we could hear the other band, it was a lot of fun. The opening act was a guy called Jeff Pianki. He played by himself and was really really good. It was a small venue so we were able to get pretty close to the stage again. He played his kazoo for a few songs and closed his set with "I Wanna Be Like You" from the Jungle Book- how can you not love that? Lol Plus we decided he was the cutest little ginger we'd ever seen ha ha

After him was Matt Pond PA. I had heard of him before and really enjoyed his set. I've mentioned before that I have a thing for bassist and this one was no exception. Seriously, so cute! After Matt Pond introduced him I totally Googled him too lol Thank god for smart phones :-)

His name was John Courage, by the way haha

Finally Rocky Votolato came on.

I had never heard of him, but I absolutely fell in love with him. I've been listening to him pretty much non stop since the show. I just love his voice, and the songs are so catchy and I can totally relate to a lot of his lyrics. Love love love.

We were able to move front and center by the time he came on and it was so great to literally be like 2 feet from him. I just love intimate concerts like that!

After the show, all three artists hung around and we got to talk to all of them which was great. Rebecca was able to snag two of the set lists and got them both signed. They were all so sweet and gracious. We found out Jeff Pianki is coming to the Blind Pig in Ann arbor soon so were both pretty stoked to go see him again

The I only downside was I looked for my new bassist crush but sadly he was nowhere to be found lol

If anyone sees him, could you let him know I'm in love with him? Please and thank you :-)

September 16, 2011

Came up in the spot and grabbed the beat like a pressure point.

Last week, my friend Casey came up and went to check out a concert at this bar in Ann Arbor. I much prefer seeing concerts in small venues than at a big stadium, and the Blind Pig is the definition of a small venue-I was less than a five feet away from the stage for most of the concert-and it was so fun!

We knew it was going to be packed so we got there early and got some seats right by the stage. The first opening act was a guy from Kalamazoo, named Casper Da Ghost. He was ok, I cant really hate on him but I also couldn't understand him and he was just rapping over other peoples beats, but he brought up some like 15 year old kid to preform a song with him and he killed it-it was ridic.

Not really a good pic, but just to see how close we were-and this was when we weren't by the stage, we were just sitting off to the side.

Next up, was LA Da Darkman, who is a Wu Tang affiliate, and pretty great. The whole bar was hyped after he was done. He was just chilling after his set so my friend a nd I went up and talked with him and took some pictures with him. He was super cool and really chill.

Finally, the headliner came on and the whole crowd just went crazy. Royce Da 5'9" absolutely killed it. There was rumors that Em would show up, but instead he brought Kid Vishis who is Royce's little brother. The energy was just ridiculous and it was such a blast. I was basically in the second row and was close enough to touch them (which I did haha). My favorite part was when Vishis did an A Capella rap, and the whole crowd was dead silent until he finished and everyone just went crazy!

Vishis and Royce-we were so close, they were pouring shots of Patron for everyone in the front row lol

After the show, we went to Steak n' Shake before heading back to my place. I was so exhausted, I fell asleep pretty much as soon as I laid down!

I told him to smile and this is what I got-such a grump lol

September 14, 2011

I wanna love you and treat you right, I wanna love you every day and every night.

Today I'm linking up with Jaime today for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

So here are a few things I'm loving lately....

I'm loving being tan (even though it's September!) Seriously, I didn't have a tan *all summer*. Go to the ball park Sept. 1, and get the best tan I've had all year.

I'm loving Tha Carter IV. I have been waiting for this album since Tha Carter III and I'm soooo happy it's out now! I've been pretty much listening to it non-stop!

I'm loving my wonderful mother who has been so helpful when I come over and always makes sure whatever she's making for dinner is GF. It's made things so much easier with her help! Moms are the best!

And speaking of my mom...

I'm loving my parents who celebrated their 28 year anniversary last week!

Even though I joke with them, I'll be so very blessed if I'm able to find someone who I love as much as they love each other.

What are ya'll loving today?

What simple things are you enjoying this week? Go link up and share!

August 15, 2011

It was summerrtime in northern Michigan.

I know most people won't share this sentiment but...

I love my job.

A lot of people I know are constantly griping and complaining about this coworker or that boss, and while I have those days every once in a while, for the most part, I love pretty much everything about my job.

The office itself is relaxed and fun, my customers are 99.9% of the time easy to work with and my co-workers are some of the funniest, nicest people I know.

Case in point-my awesome boss. Who has season tickets to the Lions. And who likes to give me them when he can't go.

This past Friday, was the Lions first preseason game and since my boss had something to do that night, he gave them to me. Seriously, awesome.

Please ignore my awkward face lol

Before the game, I decided to do a Lions-inspired manicure (duh!), which involved using Ulta Blue Streak the perfect shade of Honolulu Blue and silver shatter that my friend got me because she knew I was having a rough week (how sweet, right?)

That afternoon, I picked up my friend and headed into the city. Kid Rock was playing that same night so we took our time and strolled through the crowds while doing some people watching. Since Kid Rock is from Romeo, MichiganDetroit, it's always a spectacle whenever he comes to town. This year he decided to throw a two-day block party in the parking lot of Comerica Park, where he was performing. I wanted to ride some rides, but we didn't have enough time. Hopefully when he comes back to town next summer, I'll be able to see him perform!

We made our way to Ford Field and found our seats. For being a preseason game and especially for being the Lions, there were a lot of people there. There's a lot of buzz surrounding this season, which is really exciting, considering I really don't remember the Lions ever having a winning tradition.
And from what I saw, there's plenty of reason to be excited. Satfford looked good in the three series he played, as did Calvin Johnson and Jason Tulloch. The real pride of the Lions right now is the defensive line and they did not disappoint. Ndamukong Suh made a few tackles and one sack, which was called for "unnecessary roughness" to which coach Schwartz replied "Well, when you are strong as him, it's just going to happen. He just can't help himself!" I don't know what I find that so funny, but it cracks me up lol

They ended up winning the game 34-3, and it got me really excited for the rest of the season.

When we left, the Kid Rock concert was still going on so we stopped and watched him play one of my faves (All Summer Long-such a great summer song) through the gates and when we were leaving he was playing Bawitaba, which is hands down my favorite Kid Rock song.

I may have even let out a little scream haha

July 27, 2011

You keep this love.

Today I'm linking up with Jaime at this kind of love for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving Lil Wayne. I was clearing out my parent's DVR and found Lil Wayne Unplugged that I never watched.

I love him.

I'm loving reconnecting with old friends! My best friend from elementary school stopped by my office the other day and when I was buying my new phone, I saw the boy I went to prom with. I love little surprises like that!

I'm loving this music video my friend at work showed me-it's been in my head all week!

I'm loving my wonderful mother who is celebrating her birthday today!

Happy birthday, Mom!

*What are you loving today?*
