I tell you what it is on my mind. I only want to be in your record collection.

Today for Top Two Tuesday with The Undomectic Momma it's Top Two Things you collect!

1. Key Chainsvia
When I was younger, I used to collect key chains. Everywhere we went, I would pick one up and when friends travelled they always brought one back for me. I think I had close to 500 when I stopped collecting them. I'm pretty sure they are still in the back on my closet somewhere haha

2.Pandas via
My nickname since I was a baby is "Panda" so I've been collecting panda stuff all my life. I have shirts, books, greeting cards-pretty much anything with a panda on it I have. But the part of my collection that takes up the most room is definitely the stuffed panda bears! I have soooo many- some are super tiny and some are so big they are almost body pillows! They are all still taking up room in my old bedroom at my parents lol

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Tuesday!

I miss Mayberry, sitting on the porch drinking ice cold cherry coke.

Today for Top 2 Tuesday with The Undomestic Momma, it's "Top 2 Favorite Drinks"!

1. Cherry Pepsi

I have pretty much given up drinking pop, but when I want to treat myself, I love Cherry Pepsi!
I usually drink the diet, which is soooo good, (it honestly doesn't taste like diet!) but if I'm out to dinner, I can't resist Cherry Pepsi made with grenadine. It's so syrup-y sweet and delicious-yum!

2. McDonald's Sweet Tea

We don't really have "sweet tea" up here in Michigan, but a few years ago when I visited my faily in North Carolina, I tried some and fell in love haha Now when ever I need a pick me up, I stop by Mickey D's because delicious and $1...um, yes please.

Mick Jagger with my swagger.

Today for Top Two Tuesday it's Top Two Songs on your Ipod!

To be honest, I have song ADD, and rarely listen to a whole song all the way through so my ITunes doesn't count it as being "played" haha I mostly listen to my IPod on shuffle, but when I hear these two songs, I definitely stop and listen to them almost all the way through

1. The Hold Steady-Chillout Tent

2. Lil Wayne-Party Like a Rockstar

Gimme head with hair. Long beautiful hair, shining, gleaming, Streaming, flaxen, waxen

This Week it's "Top Two Celebrity Hairstyles"!

1. Hilary Duff
I'm not her biggest fan, but I've been looking inspiration for my next hair cut, and hers is the closest I can find to what I want. I have curly hair so my options are pretty limited, but I'd really love some layers and bangs like hers :-)

2. Ginnifer Goodwin
If I was adverntourous enough to have short hair, I would totally want hers. I think she is adorable to begin with, but I love her little bob! So cute!

I wanna talk about me, wanna talk about I, wanna talk about number one.

Even though this sounded like it would be pretty easy, I had a hard time coming up with "random" facts about myself...but let's see what I came up with :-)

1. I was an all conference athlete in high school.
I was a four year Varisty soccer player and was named to 2 All Conference Teams and an All State Team my Senior year. I was also a 2 time All Conference tennis player and won my division my Junior and Senior years.

2. Reality TV is my vice.
Jersey Shore, Top Chef, Teen Mom, Project Runway and my new obsession Lizard Lick Towing, plus many, many more. It's so addicting and so bad for me (I can *literally* feel brain cells dying) but I just love it!

You made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter, you are the best thing that's ever been mine.

Today for Top Two Tuesday on The Undomestic Momma, it's "Top Two Things You've Learned About Relationships."

Even though I'm not currently in a relationship, I've had some trials and errors over the past few years which have all taught me a lot. While it hurt when some of those relationships ended, I've realized that what I learned from them will help me to a be a better partner in future relationships, so I've developed some gratidtue for all of them :-)

1. If I'm going to be happy in a relationship, I have to be happy with myself.

I went through a period of "serial dating"-jumping from one relationship to the next, without much of a break in between. Suffice it to say, I wasn't all that happy with the situation, or myself, by the end of it. I ended up taking an almost year long break from dating, by the end, I was actually happy and content! I got into a relationship, which didn't work out, but when it ended, I knew it had nothing to do with what I looked like, how I talked, etc and was really just that we weren't compatible. It made getting over the break up just a little easier.

2. Agreeing on core issues is key.

I was in a relationship that I was really happy in, but when we started discussing some core issues, we didn't agree on them at all! For instance, I want a family with children and he didn't. Also, even though I don't go to Temple every week, I pray on a regular basis and have a definite faith in God, neither of which he understood and even worse, wasn't interested in learning about. Because of these, along with some others, it really didn't matter how happy we were in that moment, it realistically wasn't going to last.

Money, it's a gas. Grab that cash with both hands and make a stash.

Today, I'm trying out Top Two Tuesday on The Undomestic Momma. The topic is "Top Two Things You've Learned About Money."

My dad is a banker, so he's been trying to instill good money management skills since I was little. Unfortunately, some of them took a little longer to take hold lol But these two are the ones I keep at the forefront of my mind (and bank statement :-)

1. "Wanting" is not the same as "Needing"

When I was in high school, I worked but didn't have many expenses so I was able to shop a lot more than I probably needed to. I always talked about things I wanted, but used the verb "need" (i.e. I need those new high heels, I need a new mini skirt). They were all totally things I didn't need at all! As I've grown up, I've begun to learn the difference. I *need* to get my oil changed, but I *want* to buy new earrings. Big difference haha

2. Saving doesn't have to severly impact my income

I've worked at jobs with direct deposit before, but at my current job, I am able to have money divided into multiple accounts. I have most of it go in to my checking, but I also have $5 per check go directly into savings. It doesn't seem like a lot, but it does add up (I also have "Keep the Change" at my bank so when I use my debit, it rounds up and send the difference to my savings account). The money is only for emergencies, but it's nice to know I have a cushion if I need it. I also have money put directly into a 401(k) account. In the few years I've had it, it's really grown. And even though I can't really touch it right now, it definitely alleviates stress when I think about the future.
